WHY?
Why do I do this work?
Why do I show up every single day?
Why do I choose awareness, even when it’s uncomfortable…even when it asks more of me than staying the same ever would?
Because this is the purpose.
This is the meaning of life!, not in some grand, unreachable way, but in the most grounded, human sense.
To take what you were given…and make it better.
To release what does not belong to you…and consciously choose what does.
To align, again and again, with The Good That Stays.
There comes a moment on the journey where you begin to understand that the work you are doing is not just for you.
It may begin that way, in the quiet moments of your own unraveling…in the recognition of patterns that no longer serve…in the courage it takes to look at your life and say, “Something here needs to change.”
But if you stay with it long enough—if you choose awareness over avoidance, truth over comfort, and growth over repetition—you begin to feel something deeper anchoring within you.
You begin to realize…this work echoes.
It echoes backward into the generations that came before you, and forward into the ones who will come after.
And somewhere along the way, you make a decision, sometimes consciously, sometimes through sheer exhaustion…that it stops here.
Not perfectly. Not all at once. But intentionally.
For me, part of that work has been the release of patterns that were never truly mine to carry. Patterns rooted in survival, in disconnection, in ways of relating that were learned, inherited, and repeated until they felt like truth. And one of the most profound layers of that journey has been untangling the ways in which we connect, seek, love, and sometimes lose ourselves, especially in the realm of intimacy and identity.
There is no shame in that acknowledgment. Only awareness.
Because when we begin to see clearly, we also begin to choose differently, and that is where the shift begins.
This is why spaces like The Bloom Center matter.
Not because they promise perfection or instant transformation, but because they offer something far more powerful, a place to become aware.
A place where women can step out of the noise of their lives and into a space that gently, but truthfully, reflects back to them who they are…beneath the patterns, beneath the roles, beneath the stories they’ve carried for so long.
-
Some will walk through those doors ready.
-
Some will walk through uncertain.
-
Some may not walk through at all…not yet.
And that is okay.
Because this work is not about forcing change. It is about creating a space where change becomes possible when one is ready to see.
We do not raise the collective by demanding that everyone rise at the same time.
We raise it by doing our own work—deeply, honestly, and consistently—so that when others are ready, there is already a light on.
-
A place already held.
-
A frequency already established.
The good that stays is not perfection. It is awareness.
It is the moment you pause instead of react.
The moment you choose truth over habit.
The moment you recognize a pattern and decide—even imperfectly—to shift it.
And, perhaps most quietly powerful of all…It is the moment you realize it is safe to feel joy without waiting for something to go wrong.
That it is safe to stand in what is working…
to receive what is good…
and to trust that what is meant to stay, will.
That is the work. That is the legacy.
And that is what continues—quietly, powerfully—long after the moment has passed.
As The Bloom Center reopens in this new chapter, it stands not just as a physical space, but as a living reflection of that truth.
-
A place for becoming.
-
A place for remembering.
-
A place for those who are ready to begin…or begin again.
And for those of us walking this path, doing this work—not just for ourselves, but for something greater—we continue.
One choice at a time.
One layer at a time.
One moment of awareness at a time.
This is how we change the story.
This is how The Good Stays.
